I have read this authors work previously and therefore I have to say that it came as no surprise just how easy it was to fall back into the rhythm of her writing. There are certain authors that when I read their work, it is almost as if they have written in especially for me, the pace and pattern of the story fits with my reading style, the pace that I can carry the page and the attention to detail that keeps my imagination completely besotted…Mimi Francis, you are a gem.

The story was totally enthralling, a real romance that had a feel of being something almost old school, grown up if I had to put a label on it. The relationship was expressed in such a way as to insight a blush on my cheeks at times but encourage full on flush at others. This was full on grown up sensuality and that brought its own flush eroticism to the page.

In this age of media dominance, I thought the author broached a subject that is all too familiar, the ease with which we devour the slightest titillation about those in the public eye and the media, appetite to get their story, any story if you will in order to stay one step ahead of the pack, but at what cost?

You will love Sofia and Chris – and that is just as well because you may not take kindly to some of the secondary characters, but each have a part to play in what is a gripping read.

I’m looking forward to the next in the series already!
