Taste of Bad

by Angel A.

This was a bit out of the ordinary for me, it was a story that didn’t really have much to say and what it did have was a bit on the scattered side.

I wasn’t sure whether or not I likes Zeph and in the end I reached the decision that I really didn’t and I think that was because he was just a bit wishy-washy- I wanted him to man up!

I really took exception to him and him incessant moaning about his girlfriend- I mean really get a grip man and move on but he seemed to like to wallow a little too much for me.

By the time he got his finger out, he was an ass!

I didn’t get the way he bed hopped, drunk his crappy life away and when drink and women weren’t enough he added drugs and extra women into the mix- I mean really – he was whining about missing his girlfriend only a few pages ago.

It was just too jittery for my liking.

I was looking for a redeeming quality and I suppose you have to give him credit for being optimistic but who wakes up one morning and makes an arbitrary decision to not give a damn!

I do have to say that the ending was a twist that I really didn’t see coming and that alone took this to a 3.5 for me.
