Avoiding Temptation

by Rachel Van Dyken

A perfect standalone in the Bro Code Series, this the latest read from Rachel Van Dyken has me totally hooked to her work all over again.
Slater was just everything I thought he was going to be and that actually surprised me because he had a few foibles that had me scratching my head wondering …why? I liked the fact that he wasn’t afraid to admit that he fancied a little bit of what Leo had, something and someone for himself, a partner that he could settle down with, little did he realise that his heart was already falling for his best friends sister.
It was virtually impossible for the pair of them to keep their distance, after all, they are sharing living space but that doesn’t mean that Slater doesn’t try…the fly in the ointment was the fact that Tatum didn’t want to keep her distance…and so the fun and game began.
The connection between the two of them was palpable, and it was easy to see why the author presented such richly rounded and interesting characters that I wanted to know what was going on with them, they brought so much to the story that it wasn’t just the dynamic between Slater and Tatum that kept me enthralled but also the brother-sister relationship between Finn and Tatum.
It is always interesting when there is a sibling aspect to a storyline, and this was no different. How would what was happening between Tatum and Slater affect Finn and what did it have in store for their Wingman business.
With Finn’s story still to come, I have to say that I cannot wait to see what the author has in store for him.
Superbly written this was a fantastic read.
