Dirty Ride by Chantal Fernando
There are times when a fresh start is all you need, to gather up your past and ditch it once and for all and for Tina that time has come.
Moving on from a relationship that was toxic and brutal from start to its inevitable end, she eventually ends up where she needs to be but she is far from sure that this is her final resting place, the one stop that she feels safe in and can actually put some roots down in.
But one chance meeting in a local bar with Aidan aka Irish, and he has no such doubt, because she can run all she likes, he is not going to let he slip through his fingers…no is not an option!
Tina tries to keep herself at arms-length but she is fighting the inevitable, because when she does eventually bump into Aidan again, he is in no mood to wait, he is ready to make her his.
Now perhaps Aidan should have paid attention to her reticence because despite the fact that he is more than capable of looking after not only himself but Tina also, they are both facing a more than they wanted when Tina’s past rears its ugly head.
I loved Irish, he was such a fabulous character and Tina was definitely the right woman for him, she was good for him but her insecurities were easy to understand. I liked the way their relationship developed but I did think that I wanted a little look deeper at what was going on between the two of them.
