Forever Our Boys

This super little addition to The Beaumont Series was everything I hoped it would be.
And while the story effectively concentrates on the women that share the lives of each of the three guys in the band, that didn’t mean that the guys were willing to stay totally out of the picture because if truth be known, these guys quite simply seem to refuse to stay in the background for any reason.
Of course, they wanted their women to relax and enjoy themselves but with these couples, spending time apart isn’t exactly their favourite thing to do.
I love each and every one of these characters, they all brought their own flair and personality to the page and they reminded me just what I had been missing (I need to spend some time devouring the entire Beaumont Series, all over again)
I think this gave the characters the opportunity to catch us up, on what has been happening with not only them but their families and without divulging too much, with a new series pending this whetted my appetite perfectly for what is to come next.
Harrison, Jimmy and Liam are there very special men but the women that love them get their opportunity to show us what how they have managed to keep their relationships as strong as ever. I laughed, with them as they reminisced about their lives and loves, but my most prominent feeling was one of pride, proud of the way they not only championed and supported their men but for the way they gave their children their unwavering and fervent support, like any parent they struggled with giving their kids the freedom to be themselves but yet they knew when to speak up and when to allow their kids to explore the world on their own…when you read it that will make sense, I don’t know that I would have been able to keep quiet.
The author was able to give these super women a sense of normalcy that I thought was perfect.
