Love, On Hold

by Mia Miller

A modern, contemporary romance that gave me just enough of everything I was looking for with a side order of what I didn’t know I needed.

Leonie was typical, the sort of woman we either all are or all know of, someone with life all set out and organised and with neither the plan nor inclination to deviate from that path. As for a guy in her life, we that little chestnut was a barely broached subject as far as she is concerned, her interest consigned to a history that she would rather not repeat.

Joel is the guy that just might pitch all her plans into orbit, whilst endeavouring to outrun his own demons, or at least to keep one step ahead of a father that he would rather he had nothing to do with.

To get the details on their histories I could tell you but then again, I doubt you would thank me for spoiling what is an exceptional read. This is one of those stories that I actually think going in blind, is the best decision you will ever make.

Go on, give it ago…delve deep and uncover just what fate had in store for this pair, how a moments decision can change the course of your life and how they survived not just their own uncertainties but also the pain of loss, the pleasure of love and the euphoria of finally being in a position to follow their dreams.

With a fabulous supporting cast of characters that you will come to both love (and hate in some instances) I must say that this is one not to be missed.

Beautifully written, I was captivated.
