Shadows in Me by Culine Ramsden
I read this one not realising that there was already a first book out there – rookie mistake I know but I have to say that it did not detract from the story because to be honest it was a corker anyway.
I really liked Vincent and Caitlyn (love the names by the way) they were honest, realistic and to me what mattered most, they came across as just normal.
I liked the style of writing the fact the story read true and flowed seamlessly.
It wasn’t all smooth sailing but then life isn’t and this was a true reflection on what it takes to be in a relationship – and it was better book for that pitch.
I have now one-clicked book one and will be reading that at my leisure.
Highly recommended.
Great first read from this author, a genuine surprise but a real gem!
