Sacred and Profane: Priest Erotic Romance

- An Anthology

After years of reading and reviewing books, I have to say that this is the first time I have ventured into anything that has this religious setting. I’m not overtly religious myself but still found the idea of stories that involved the clergy slightly more off limits than I had anticipated.

I will review this anthology as an whole, I don’t think it serves any purpose to wade through each story, after all you are either going to read them all or you’re not and if you are reading this then I would anticipate that you are veering towards getting stuck into the stories anyway.

The 10 stories are penned by some talented authors, but make no mistake this isn’t a subject matter that everyone will be happy in, only you know if this is your happy place, so make your judgement and stick by it…courage in your convictions ladies…please. These author hold nothing back.

I read the anthology from cover to cover and I can say that I enjoyed some stories more than others but there were none that completely turned me away, I found them interesting if that is the correct word.

The sanctity of the covenant that the characters had made with their god and the conflict that, that had with their sensual and sexuality was a moral dilemma that picked away at my brain as I read their stories and while the concept and taboo nature of the events that took place were enough to not only hold my attention but have me questioning why it was holding my attention.

If this is your thing, then this might just be the collection for you. Am I glad I read it, yes I am. Would I recommend it, again the answer would be yes but my caveat would be enter with your eyes open because if you don’t, you won’t be alone in the dark for long.
